Mr. Archer you will not be forgotten. You happen to be one of the few teachers that stand-out over my 12 years in the Williston School System. I can still see you walking toward our class with a confident stride, huge smile, and a genuine greeting each day that made me feel as though I mattered. I always wanted to be a teacher like you!
I became a teacher. Wish I could have thanked you in person.

My sincere condolences to the Archer Family.

"You can do better" "we can do better" some of the positive phrases I heard often from Grant. Serving with him at Williams County was an honor. Grant was a mentor, a sounding board and a cheerleader for many of the progressive advancements we made at the County. Too great a man to have his life cut short, I will be forever grateful for his help, his friendship, and what he taught me about public service.

When I became the McKenzie Co, Superintendent of Schools in 1993, Grant was the first person I turned to. He was so helpful, knowledgeable, and encouraging. Our state association of county superintendents was a close one, and we had some good times together. I was shocked to learn of Grant's death..... he was always so full of life and fun, and he will definitely be missed. My condolences to his fami,y.

I was the lucky beneficiary when Grant worked with my Dad. I have so many fond memories of games of horse, practical jokes, but most importantly, a genuinely kind and generous person. Thank you for making such a big difference in my life and many others. Rest In Peace after a life well lived.
